Hi All,

First I must say that I have read all posts on this topic before re-opening the issue.

I need help, I have tried evry possible permutation without success, except checking wifi-shops(MAC etc).

Here is my simple Peer to Peer home setup:

i) Simple Peer to Peer: Main machine connected to BBand via USB.

Linksys wireless adapter to Main machine. Internet charing enabled

Other devices capable of connecting include: Libretto 50ct, Casio E115, Tosh E740, Fujitsu siemen P2020, HP notebook. All these devices connected with WIFI PC CARD and same configuration for ssid, channel WEP OFF etc. Of course not all at once.

NOTE: I am not using ROUTER or anything fanciful! and ... WEP OFF

Now I have got this M2000 upgrade that doesnt allow manual setting of channel, ssid etc as it auto configures.

I tried pocket winc 2 -- It recorded 0% RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicatino)

I tried (Hitchhiker) -- It set set itself up as a network but didnt actual see anything

Is there a working known procedure instead of textbook 'Have You tried this?'.

I really would love to keep this unit in the absence of M2500, but my patient is running out!GPRS is also a problem, my spv (first generation) works perfectly!

Please Help.

Cheers

I have owned Tosh E740 wifi (Regarded as Best PDA ever), Casio E200:E115, HP 100:200:700LX:680,720 and PC2000. All these devices work Flawlessly.

Hi ALL,

Finally the M2000 wifi just started working after I drove around my area to pick up some signals.

I think I know whats going on, the wifi is taking so long a time to synchronise with my home network. Almost a week actually. I remember same happening when I first had my Tosh E740 wifi.

Now I am a happy camper.

Next its the wait for a Backpack! Is it going to happen?

Cheers

Tes.
