Hello ppl

Call me fussy, but im finding using Bluetooth on the C550, and previously on the E200, quite frustrating :x When trying to send and recieve files via Blurtooth/Infrared thru SmartExplorer2 more oftern than not it wont work. Most of my mates have got Nokia's, is this the problem? What kind of rating does the C550 have for Bluetooth, or PooTooth as i prefer, and has it been upgraded from previous phone versions? Can it be upgraded? Which phone has the best BlueTooth capabilities?

So many questions i know...

Thanks in advance!

I'm finding BT much better on my C550 than it was on my E200. ALso the in-built file manager on the C550 now has all the options to send via BT you need and you dont need a third party app.

I have a SE BT headset, and am finding now it works fine with my C550, before with my E200 it wouldnt connect and drop randomally.

Can you tell me where this is as I only appear to have the options to send via email or IR and would love to be able to send via BT.

Are you sure? I'm in the file explorer which came on the phone, BT is turned on and when i click send it says Beam or E-Mail?

yes switch on BT, click SEND > BEAM, it will then search for IR to align or search for BT devices, when it finds BT devices it will display their name, hightlight it and click left soft key beam.

Hurray! :)

Cheers for that, it works fine. Saves me having more than one file manager app.
