Pause before answering

i have an mpx220 and nothing loaded on it except a few songs in mp3 format on my 512 sd card. I also have a few @10 wav ringtones i added to the sound directory of the phone. I can still answer calls but when it rings, sometimes it doesnt use the custom ringtones I have assigned to my contacts and my phone does some wierd thing on the external lcd. Its like the program is hanging up and the icon cuts in half. I can no longer see the person who is calling when i look at the external lcd. When i open the phone to talk, I have to wait about 5 seconds before the contact is shown and im able to hear and talk to the person. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Perhaps you should consider a firmware upgrade. Rom 1.43 from Cingular is good and stable and the generic european 1.47 is even better

Any known bugs with the update? How long does it take to upgrade it?
