How to send email SPV c500

how do i send emails using the spv c500?

i enter the address i want to send and what i want to be sent. then i click send but it jsut goes to my outbox.

so how do i send them anybody?????

Assuming you've gpt all your settings right, when in Outbox hit Menu, Send & Receive

Depends which mailbox you're using. As the phone comes out of the box, you'll have (under messaging) -

Media Messages

Text Messages

Outlook E-Mail

IMAP4

If you're using the Outlook e-mail, then you CANNOT send this from your phone by GPRS. It will store your mails in the Outbox and then send them through your PC next time you Activesync up - hence saving you GPRS charges.

If you want to send mails when you're out and about, you'll need to add a new account onto the list (in any of the boxes, select Menu, Options, Account Setup) and tell it your e-mail, pop3 and SMTP addresses and so on. Then you can follow Disco's instructions of starting a Send/Recive after you've finished typing it.
