With BT Headset & GPS - Crackling Sound!

Hi,

First post here.

Loving my new SPV C500, but having a very strange problem with my BT headset. Basically when I am running TomTom with the BT GPS module I get terrible static / crackling when using my BT headset to make or receive calls.

Now the strangest thing is after lots of testing if I delete the headset pairing and then re-establish, the interference goes away until I then turn off the headset (or move out of range) and then reconnect. I have tried another headset (although it is the exact same model a BlueTrek G2) and various different physical locations to see if it is cross device inteference (but that does not explain why it works when re-pairing the phone and headset!)

Anyone have any ideas? is it worth spending £70 plus on a new headset?
