SMT5600 Recording your call?

I read that this can be done on the C500 by using the media player. Can it be done any way on the 5600?

I have seen it done on the newer smt5600's that come on Cingular. All you have to do is hold down one of the volume buttons on the side of the phone while talking. It doesn't work for me though cause I have an older smt5600 off of AT&T's network. -- Still trying to figure out how to update my firmware.

I just tried it witn my cingular branded smt5600... no luck :) Will go check out the shortcuts... I understand that its the memo key so ill read about how to record a new memo...
