Smartmonitor Editing?

Hello, i have a macosx theme with smartmonitor and rjshortcuts etc, i want to make it so it just updates the signal strength fast and not the other ones example like mem update every 60sec or STG every 4 min etc.. because my batt on full charge will not last over 27 hours with only like 40 min talk time...

yea this would help if anyone knows, i come to find this out also when half my battery was gone over night with smartmonitor updateing every 15 secs
