problem caller id bt800 (phonebook)

hi,

i have a t-mobile sda. a.k.a htc typhoon.

the jabra bt800 works fine with the phone.

but if someone is calling the headset only displays the phone number.

not the phonebook entry (callers name).

with a siemens sx60(??) phone it worked fine. callers name was displayed

correctly in bt800 display.

what to do to display the phonebook entry?

hmm.. try going to accessories>> SIM manager you will get a list of ur contacts on ur list. then click menu>>select all and then menu>> add to contacts.

there is 1 number. my own. all contacts are saved in phone storage. so it doesnt matter what is saved there or not.

on the phone itself the contacts are displayed correctely. e.g.

Name: Frank Number: 1234 if frank is calling, on the phone display i'll see Frank and the number.

for me it looks like the bluetooth profiles in the phone doesnt support this feature.

on every phone i tried it worked form the first second. nokia, siemens....

its such a buggy and bad phone.

(callers name)... is Frank not the caller's name?
