..bloody annoying !

hello all,

..ok, i'm VERY happy with me m2000 etc, but one thing that really pees me off is that about once a week the damn thing decides to hard-reset itself. its not so much a problem but more of an inconvenience... i have to go to the spb website and request serial numbers then reload all their programs i have, same for agilemessenger. now i know more than likely this topic is covered somewhere else, and i know(more than likely) one of you mods will close this thread and tell me off... oh, AND i know more than likely paul's gonna ban me again, but anyone out there have any solution as to why my m2000 is resetting itself weekly ?

ps. my unit sometimes soft-resets itself too... i guess that's when it's in a good mood ?

Sounds faulty to me. My MDA III has never hard reset itself aside from once when I left the battery off after I swapped the sim out of it as I was in a hurry to go out. I learned that day that my backup battery won't last more then 4hrs! :)

hehe thats why you shudda got the M2000 with the spare battery :D not a chance of that problem especially if you put it in Aeroplane mode :lol:

Would also agree with the faulty verdict, mines only reset once without the battery off or me doing it myself and that was because i was using a program that wasn't installed properly after I took the storage card out.

Send it back :lol: get a new one :D
