Guest Weavo Posted July 28, 2005 Report Posted July 28, 2005 Hi all, I'm using the homescreen of 'Apple Smart Monitor' and the calendar replacement of 'Papyrus'. I've also got the 'Ptksl ApptPlugIn' installed, but I still can't scroll through my appointments. Is this a known problem with this app, or is there another app out there that'll do the job for me? Thanks
Guest SinisterJunkie Posted July 29, 2005 Report Posted July 29, 2005 If your looking for a great calander plugin for your homescreen, then you have to check out Facade if you haven't already. Since your already using Papyrus, you already know how good SBSH is. You can find the latest beta here.
Guest TigerNet Posted July 29, 2005 Report Posted July 29, 2005 ...ok, downloaded and installed...where do I find it??? ...am I being dumb? Cheers Nick
Guest TigerNet Posted July 29, 2005 Report Posted July 29, 2005 ...talking about Facade by the way...
Guest TigerNet Posted July 29, 2005 Report Posted July 29, 2005 ...sorted...I suppose reading the forum's FAQs helps!!! ...doh... Cheers Nick
Guest rekall Posted July 29, 2005 Report Posted July 29, 2005 (edited) I have tried Facade but found it constantly hangs my phone - maybe its just me but it seems a little unstable. I would like a calendar plugin that can show me the next apppointment and the one after that - nothing more! Any suggestions or is Facade the only one (oh and preferably free :)? Cheers Edited July 29, 2005 by rekall
Guest Weavo Posted July 29, 2005 Report Posted July 29, 2005 I've had a look at Facade, but it's a replacement homescreen. I'd like to keep my homescreen, but just be able to scroll through my appointments without leaving my home screen.

Cheers <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There was some issue with the 0.9 beta version of Facade. 0.91 has just been release and looks to have the stability issue sorted out, but it is still a beta program at the moment. As for calender plugins that show multiple appointments, you only have two options that I know of, Ptksl Appt & Facade. Facade just has more possibilities and I love that. As for the price, Ptksl Appt is like 5 bucks and Facade is free while in beta, but will be a pay application eventually. Neither is or will be that much money.

It includes a default homescreen to show what it can do, but you can edit your current homescreen and include the code for Facade.

Guest TigerNet Posted August 2, 2005 Report Posted August 2, 2005 ...but is it possible to chage the order or the icons in the launcer bar?? Cheers Nick
Guest argh Posted August 2, 2005 Report Posted August 2, 2005 ...but is it possible to chage the order or the icons in the launcer bar?? Cheers Nick <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, just edit the homescreen XML file (probably best to copy it and edit the copy, so you still have the original for reference). You can change the applications in the launcher bar and their order.

Cheers Nick <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not only that, but you can add arguments to allow shortcuts to sound settings, alarm etc. Facade will become a formidable product in the end. As we all know SBSH are unrivalled in the quality & dedication of their work, and the future for facade looks to include other features like battery/system monitor. I would strongly recommend anyone to get the beta & get involved with their testing as it rules!! :)
