C500 wont start !

After installing the 4.2.4.1 "patch" i restarted the phone, only it would not do so..

After the Orange start screen the windows mobile screen appears for some 30 seconds and then it restarts and goes back to the orange screen, then to the windows mobile and so on.. back and forth... ???

Anyone knows what to do ????

'patch'? Do you mean your regions latest update?

If so I'd recommend starting again and reinstalling the update.

Well, in order to reinstall the update the phone needs to be on and connected via active sync. but since the phone wont start that is not an option...

You can run the update again from the tr-coloured screen.

Turn the phone off, hold down camera button and press the power button once. The phone should boot into the tri-coloured screen where you can re-run the rom update.

It might be worth trying a hard reset first though by holding down both soft keys and pressing power button once. It should put you into the hard reset menu.
