Guest SHaKuA Posted July 28, 2005 Report Posted July 28, 2005 Hi, does anyone have any idea how to prevent themes from overwriting each other? I have installed a few themes in the xphone IIm e.g. ws1 and naruto, ws1 contains a loading screen and closing screen while naruto doesn't contain those screen. when i switch my theme to naruto, the background changes but when i shutdown my phone the shutdown screen from ws1 theme appears (because naruto theme doesn't have those wallpapers). How can I make it such that only naruto themes background appears without other themes overwriting it?
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted July 28, 2005 Report Posted July 28, 2005 If naruto does not have startup and shutdown splash screens then the previous theme with splash screens will be the ones used by your phone. You can assign splash screens to your phone using you own graphic files and a registry editor. Screen size is 176x220 Example: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Splash Screen\MSBitmap (first screen to appear after O2 logo, on startup) "\Storage\Application Data\Home\1.gif" HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Splash Screen\CarrierBitmap (second screen to appear after O2 logo, on startup) "\Storage\Application Data\Home\2.gif" HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Splash Screen\MSShutdownBitmap (first screen to appear as you power off phone) "\Storage\Application Data\Home\2.gif" HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Splash Screen\CarrierShutdownBitmap (last screen to appear as you power off phone) "\Storage\Application Data\Home\1.gif"
