External Antenna

Hi,

newbie question. I ran across a post that mention something about using and external antenna on the mpx200 smartphone. They mentioned a open port on the back so you don't need to take phone apart. Does anyone have any info. on this, or part #? Any infomation would be greatful. 8)

I think they decided that it wouldn't work. The antennas on the phone are manufactured to precise lenghts and electrical impedence. When those things are changed, the antenna becomes useless and can even hurt parts of your phone. There are too many risks to try it, and it wouldn't help reception any.
