Executing hotlinks on mobile sites

Is the any reason I can not navigate a mobile web site with my MPX220? For example, I can go to http://delta.com and navigate fine and select and execute hotlinks on the site but the content is obviously too big and take awhile to download. When I go to Delta's mobile site, http://mobile.delta.com, it quickly downloads the content but I can not select any of the hotlinks. Any Ideas?

My device is a MPX220 with 1.43 s/w. I'm on the Cingular n/w.

I actually noticed that too trying to navigate on it a month or so ago... It's definitely related to the way the site is set up on deltas side because you can't navigate on the mobile site with the tab key like you can on the regular site. I was going to send an email to Delta to alert them and ask them if they could add this, but I never got around to it
