Nokia smartphones have NoviiRemote program.

On the NoviiRemote website, some Nokia smartphones are added to the devices with remote control programs. It says some microsoft windows phones have support. Has anyone confirmed this???

I just tried the pocket pc version on my mpx220, and it didn't work. Does anyone know of a remote control program that works on our wm smartphones?

This topic arises every few months.

Windows based smartphones cannot (at the minute) support infrared remote control functions.

The IR Bulb is not powerfull enough to transmit a beam more than 2metres at most.

Plus nobody has developed a program that actually works..

Its times like this I wish I was moderator :) Lock this down Awarner .

I'm glad I'm off on my holidays for a week so I dont waste my time reading this thread ;)
