call quality on m500

hi ive just recieved my m500 upgrade and wonderd if the call quality should be better or if i may have damaged the internal speaker behind the earpiece? i get a slightly tinny distortion when the caller makes louder noises or of a certain pitch, are they all like this?

secondly after a few calls from the miss's she is complaining of being able to hear herself echo after some words is this also normal?

any comments would be appreciated cheers

I'd describe the call quality on my M500 as fine. It's not great (CD-quality it ain't) but there are no weird noises, interference or anything else. It's pretty much the same as my C500 was, athough possibly a little bit quieter through the earpiece.

I have to agree, yours doesn't sound right dude. Could be worth trying a hard-reset (in case it's software related) and then, if it's still wonky, return it back to the shop as a hardware problem.

I agree with Confused Stu.

My only further observation is that you need to have the speaker properly positioned over the ear or the call volume is dodgy. I've never had people tell me they can't hear me though.
