TomTom 5 Mobile stops working when keypad lock

Can anyone help,

I have TomTom Mobile 5 on my Nokia 6680 with a Globalsat bt338 and when I put my keypad lock on it freezes.

It starts to work again as soon as I unlock the keypad.

I have Aftrack on the same phone using the Globalsat bt338 and this works fine with the keypad locked.

Does anyone else have this problem, if so what handsets?

Does anyone know how to solve this?

Unfortunately this site is for Windows Smartphones, not Symbian devices.

Also why not use the TomTom GPS unit? as it's far better than the globalsat one.

Sorry for posting on the wrong site but your members seem to be so helpful and lots appear to use both Windows Smart Phones and Symbian devices.

I have found through most reviews and people I know that use GPS, that the Globalsat is quite a long way better than the TomToms own.

Not only only this but it is also available a lot cheaper if you shop around.

I am not quite sure why it is so much better as the specs are almost the same.

If you have TomTom5 and the GPS unit that comes with it is the latest in GPS devices and one of the best around.

Also the globalsat may be cheaper but what is the point buying another GPS unit when you get one included with TomTom Mobile.
