SPV M500 Bluetooth Keyboard

Has anyone used a bluetooth keyboard with a SPV M500? I need to replace my fabric keyboard and would rather be sure that the various keyboards on the market are completely compatible before shelling out £50-100.

I emailed Freedom regarding availablity of the Freedom Bluetooth Keyboard drivers for the SPV M500. I received this reply:

Hello, We will be releasing the driver early next week, so if you check back on the website regularly for news updates, you will soon have it in your

possession. Thanks.

Good news. So hopefully drivers will be available the week of 29th August.

I also emailed Think Outside Stowaway Bluetooth Keyboard people and haven't heard back from them.

I was contacted by a helpful person at Think Outside. After some clarification about the type of phone the M500 was, I got this confirmation:

Yours is in the HTC "Magician" family of hardware devices.  It's comparable to the iMate Jam, and you can use the

comparable driver for the Jam for your device as well.

Sadly I won't be receiving free keyboards to test how well the drivers work so I will have to choose one and stick to it. At the moment the Think Outside keyboard is looking the most promising as drivers are available now. I'm sure it will come down to how the keyboards feel when I try them out in the shop.

I bought a Stowaway keyboard today and I'm happy to say it works with my M500 using the Jam drivers. Nice piece of kit as well. Very comfortable.
