Hey all

I have just tried setting a wireless network up at home, while my two laptops work flawlessly, i have an old Netgear MA101 usb wireless adapter and cannot get it to connect.

I have reinstalled drivers, rebooted the machine, reinstalled windows XP, unplugged and plugged back in too many times.

So i was wondering if any of you guys have had the same problem, it knows the network is there, but just won't connect, have i got the face facts and buy a new USB adapter???

Thanks for any help

I had problems with the MA101, I think the way I worked around it was to allow xp to handle the wireless network as the Netgear wireless drivers were the problem, I also had difficulties with wep on the MA101. try turning wep off temporarily to see if the netgear adaptor will connect. You may have to set the wep key manually with the MA101
