price tag on C550 in UK..and other Q...

Hi There....does any of you UK guys and girls know what the price is for an sim- free C550 in the UK? I would like to know since I am planing to get one in a Orange shop when I am in UK next week, however I also know the price of an Qtek 8200 here in DK and I just want to compare, before I get one.

I have been searching high and low to find the price on O's web page in the UK but had no luck in finding the price...

If you know any other place were I can get the C550 or Qtek 8220 sim-free and you know the price as well..PLEASE let me know ;)

Further to that....does anyone know if I can use the Orange external flexible QWERTY keyboard, which was original made for the SPV classic, on the C 550 or the Qtek 8200 ?

It's easy to remove the simlock yourself, see other topics in this forum.

You can get one for € 359.00 from the dutch site http://www.smartphonestunts.nl/index.php?tid=48

that's with a Mini SD kaart 512 MB + free headset!

..no I'm not affiliated with that site :) I only wished I had bought mine there and not in a orange shop :(

...so I call "smartphonestunts" and aksed them if they could deliver to Denmark as well....he was not sure but he told me to sent them an email with the question and he would look into it......PLEASE CROSS YOUR FINGERS....give me a POSITIV answer PLEASE....more to follow when I got a reply from them

well you can pick up the c550 cheaper online, some sites sell it for 119.99 and that includes a sim card. Don't Bother paying them big prices on ebay and the price they sell it for on orange because you can get it for 119.99. I mean its not unlocked but its not hard to unlock smartphones. I know it will cost to get it sent to your country but i't shouldnt be that expensive.

They have no stock and don't plan to for the next 3 weeks according to Orange. Made that mistake late last week.

Ordered one today over the phone, apparently they do now have stock but are slow at updating the web pages so it should be available to buy from there v soon.

It never said they had no stock on thier website, I found out the hard way by ordering online and getting the dreaded email 3 DAYS LATER to say they had no stock! I spoke to them again this morning - they have no stock and they don't plan on having stock for 2-3 weeks yet. Priority goes to retail stores so they say. If you can get one off them you must be doing something right :)
