Guest Palindrome Posted August 1, 2005 Report Posted August 1, 2005 I can't seem to find a way to seamlessly loop my ringtones on my SPV M500. Of course I may have missed the option somewhere in the menu structure, but if there isn't does anyone know a registry hack that will achieve this? Also, has anyone had any problems getting the MP3 cab to work? After installing it I still had no option to 'set as ringtone' in the file explorer. Tried soft reset but still no joy.
Guest Palindrome Posted August 1, 2005 Report Posted August 1, 2005 (edited) Had a look in the registry and I found the E200 setting 'Script = apw3r' in HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel/Sounds/Ringtone0/ I can't seem to make it stay 'Script = apr' so the 3 second wait is removed. The registry seems to reset itself. EDIT: It seems that the loop works as long as I don't go back into the screen where I can select which ringtone I want to use. If I change the ringtone to something else I then need to redo the registry entries. Edited August 1, 2005 by Palindrome
Guest digger Posted August 2, 2005 Report Posted August 2, 2005 (edited) I have also tried the mp3 ringtone patch and I still do not see the option in File Explorer to set the MP3 as a ringtone. Can anyone shed some light on this? I had PocketPlayer installed, after installing the patch, I uninstalled PocketPlayer and reinstalled and the option of using MP3 is a ringtone was there. :) Edited August 2, 2005 by digger
Guest Palindrome Posted August 2, 2005 Report Posted August 2, 2005 I don't have PocketPlayer installed but I do have PocketMusic. I'll give that a go and see what happens.

Phone Ringtone Script [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\RingTone0]change the value of "Script" heres the code a - stands for display r - repeat/replay the script again c - sets the volume C50, c150, c100 f - means flash .. f1 flash for 1 second and f0 stands for flash continuously p -means play ringtone v- vibrate then incorporate with number to state how many seconds it will vibrate example. v3 vibrate for 3seconds or v0 for continous w - stands for wait or pause then specify how many seconds like w3(wait for 3 seconds) heres the example Flash - af1w60f0 Ring - apw3r Ring Once - ap Increasing Ring - c50apw3c150r Vibrate Then Ring - v3w3apw3r Vibrate - av3w3r Short Vibrate - av1w3r Vibrate Long Then Ring - v3w3v3w3apw3r Vibrate And Ring - av0pw3r Increasing Ring And Vibrate - c50apv3w3c150r Fast Vibrate And Flash - af1v1w1f0r Vibrate and Ring Continously without pausing - av0pr Or you could grab PPCProfiles-Pro which will do the job for you rrom here.
