Smartphone as B/T access point?

Is there any way, or bit of software, that will allow me to use my smartphone, whilst plugged into my USB cable as a bluetooth access point?

The reason for asking this, is that I left the sync cradle for my PDA at work, and need to connect it to my pc via activesync, however, not having B/T, wifi or I/R on my desktop, I can't find a way to connect!
