Guest poulidis Posted August 1, 2005 Report Posted August 1, 2005 Hi. I am thinking about buying a bluetooth GPS receiver to work with my MPx220. Considering all the post I have read, I will choose TomTom mobile, as far as the software is concerned. Now for the receiver. I have searched ebay again and again, and the lowest price I can get is around 70 euros (~ 90 us dollars). Does anyone know where I can get one for a lower price and at the same time, the unit to work well? Thanks in advance :??:
Guest Confucious Posted August 1, 2005 Report Posted August 1, 2005 You can't buy TomTom (legally) without the receiver. So just buy it with the TomTom one!
Guest Pondrew Posted August 1, 2005 Report Posted August 1, 2005 (edited) I think Awarner says it best so... ,Jun 6 2005, 14:06]If you bought TomTom5 for your phone it would have come with it's own GPS unit as it is not sold as a software only option for the phone. you can always call 31 (0)20 850 0800 and the TomTom customer support and they can help you. But if you bought the software from [email protected] it's best to get your money back as you do not own a legal copy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Topic Locked EDIT: Topic reopened, please remember, no discussion of illegal software. Guest TigerNet Posted August 2, 2005 Report Posted August 2, 2005 ...er, I bought Tom Tom software only from Tom Tom for my iPaq 6515...you're not going to tell me they are selling illegal software themselves surely?? Cheers Nick
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted August 2, 2005 Report Posted August 2, 2005 The initial post is Smartphone related and not PPC. And as mentioned above it is not sold as a software only option for the phone so discussion about buying the software and then a seperate GPS unit is pointless.
