Does anyone else have problems with the M500 on Orange sending messages twice?

I spoke to Creamhackered on MSN yesterday, and he said he had the problem, and it decided to start doing it for me today :)

Thanks,

Hi,

I had this problem with my MDA Compact. Are you using a 3rd party app to kill applications when you are closing them (remember that Pocket PCs by default only minimise apps and only close them when its needs the memory for something else).

If so you may find that if you try to send a message with the messaging app closed it sends the text twice.

Try remaining in messaging until you get the message sent bubble and then exit.

This worked for me.

Razror, have you worked it out yet? I've been having similar problems with SPB Pocket Plus, and I don't fancy uninstalling it as its a pretty neat tool

If you're using SPB+, you can add programs to an 'exeptions' list.

Go to options and select feature options of the close button, there's an exeptions tab, and juat add that mail program to it (eg on mine it's tmail.exe)

Then It'll stay open whatever.
