Guest thedr Posted August 1, 2005 Report Posted August 1, 2005 (edited) Any chance of someone giving me the lowdown on how to connect my laptop to the internet using my SPV 550 on Orange, what software/ settings I need etc. I have the gprs bundle so would like to use that method if possible. I know this is probably the wrong forum but any help appreciated, as I just can't get it to work. I'm a novice so go easy on me. EDIT: I don't mind either connecting to the phone by bluetooth or the USB cable whichever is easier Edited August 1, 2005 by thedr

Guest thedr Posted August 2, 2005 Report Posted August 2, 2005 Thanks for the pointer Martin. I've installed everything but get an error message when I try to connect to the internet. Something about a hardware failure. Is this to do with my GPRS settings or something else?

I've configured the modem and it works great but the cost of data by the kb is pretty high and dial up speed is fine for my needs. Thankyou. Morrison
