Guest ckeden Posted August 2, 2005 Report Posted August 2, 2005 Hi. I've had my mpx200 for just over a year now and have greatly appreciated the many posts I have read here. Thanks to all of you, I have somehow managed to fixed just about any problem I have run across on my 200- including taking it apart to bypass a blown fuse. One thing I noticed that is now starting to really bug me more, and more, is that the remove programs function under the phone settings no longer seems to work properly. At least nothing is listed where it should show a list of programs to remove. I have gobs of stuff installed, so I have gotten around this by using the list in activesync instead. However, I also have a PDA and sometimes the two get confusing to tell apart (shows one big list). Besides, the phone version used to work a few months back, so why should it not now? Anyone have any ideas or hacks on how to get this function working again? Many Thanks! C

You need to Uninstall the proggy thru Active Sync. The MS Smartphone bug that has never been fixed :)
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted August 3, 2005 Report Posted August 3, 2005 Yep it is the magic 50 installed files, the list will be blank until you get below the 50 mark then it will reappear.

I suppose this is a motorola "feature". :?:
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 Nope it's an MS feature and has been around since day one of the first SPV.
