Guest andyhud Posted August 2, 2005 Report Posted August 2, 2005 Hi all, Just a quick question really. My MPX220 has been out of play for a little while so I havent been on the forums much but its now all working again. I just wondered what is the best firmware I should be running (that is the most reliable) since I've been away. I don't want to start a big debate over firmwares and their pro's and con's, just people's thoughts on what one I should be running. I have most rom's on my PC already so I can whack whatever one on. At the moment, I'm running: Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition Version 4.21.1088 (Build 15101.1.3.2) Radio Version 1.00 Operator: 0.480.1003.0 Manufacturer: 1.430.0.0 Microsoft: 4.21.15101.0 Language: 0.210.0.0 File System: 4.21.15101.0 Its the Cingular version and I'm in the United Kingdom. Many thanks on your thoughts Regards Andy

Have had no probs at all and get approx 4-5 days battery life with moderate use. Camera needs tweaking, but there are posts to help you through that. The best guide I've found is on surreal network on the link here
Guest wildmanviper Posted August 2, 2005 Report Posted August 2, 2005 I would say the 1.43 ROM from the manufacture Motorola. Nothing to add in extra to make the phone do what it was meant to do, talk on.

Guest Paraklas Posted August 13, 2005 Report Posted August 13, 2005 1.47 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yep.. 1.47 is by far the best ROM ever released. I have tried every rom available if you need comparisons just let me know :)

How can I get hold of the 1.47 and update? Thanks.
Guest sweeper240 Posted August 22, 2005 Report Posted August 22, 2005 Definitely 1.47, I have tried 1.43 and 3.46. And 1.47 is definitely the one to go with, although if you must 3.46/3.45 is better than 1.43.

I was just in motorola site and they offer 1.43 here http://direct.motorola.com/ens/softwareupdate.asp# so can you help me find 1.47 firmware version.
