Guest squall Posted August 2, 2005 Report Posted August 2, 2005 Having been fortunate enough to receive a SPV C550 this morning, i have spent much of the day setting it up, syncing contacts, installing games, applications and music, infact doing just as I do every time I hard reset my smartphone. The biggest difference today is that I can no-long use my favourite homescreens (MSN or modaco 2 by midnight). Infact not one of the hundreds of previously developed homescreens will work correctly on the C550 due to the increased screen resolution. Although it is a great shame that all the hard work put into developing homescreens over the last few years will not be directly aplicable to the C550, im pleased to see some hard working developers have already started applying their skills and experience to the c550. The first homescreen to be released for the c550 comes from kleinweder.ch To download this homescreen please visit Keep an eye on the MoDaCo downloads section for more homescreen release's.
Guest Zone-MR Posted August 2, 2005 Report Posted August 2, 2005 (edited) Technically the first C550 homescreen was released over two weeks ago: http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=...ndpost&p=646228 The futurama-blue homescreen is one of my all-time favourites. Guest Holocaust Posted August 3, 2005 Report Posted August 3, 2005 Wow, that is an amazing homescreen. I doubt one of our talented themers here at Modaco would want to take a stab at porting this to us folks with smaller screens (SMT 5600). PLEEEEEEAAAASSSEEE :)
Guest Pagemakers Posted August 4, 2005 Report Posted August 4, 2005 Sadly the MMS plugin does not work correctly on this homescreen. If you receive an MMS it does not register.
