Guest safehands Posted August 2, 2005 Report Posted August 2, 2005 I recently installed the longhorn 4015 skin on my SPV C500 and had a few problems with the skin. So i decided to remove the skin off my phone. I tried removing it but a message kept on coming up saying that the program could not be removed from the phone. So i got instructions from the Longhorn 4015 discussion topic to reinstall the program and the uninstall.cab After i done this i ran the uninstall cab and it said that some parts of the skin could not be removed and the uninstall will complete if i restarted the phone. So i then turned off the phone. Well Here comes the problem. I switched the phone back on and it got to the black and blue start up screen with the orange logo on it as normal, but it would stay on that for hours without proceeding to the homescreen. It will not activesync and i left the phone on all day to try and see if it would proceed but it did not. I have some important numbers saved on the phone and none of them are on the sim card. I would be very greatful if anyone knew how to reset the phone without losing any of the numbers. As I am a newbie please be gentle on me.
Guest Xenzo1990 Posted August 2, 2005 Report Posted August 2, 2005 I think your only option is to hard reset.
