Hi, I Have 3 Smartphones, A QTek E200, An Orange SPV C500 (UNLOCKED WITH LATEST FIRMWARE) And My Pride And Joy, The MPx200 Which Is Also Unlocked With Win Mobile 2003 Installed...

Right. Because All The Phones Are Running The Same OS, These Settings Should Be Inputted The Same Way Correct..? Well, I've Completely Searched These Forums For All The O2 Wap/GPRS/Dialup Settings, And None Of Them Seem To Work With Eiter Phone...

All I Get Is This Message :

"Unable to connect. Verify you have network coverage and try again"

Can Anybody Help? Please!?

Oh Ye, And Back In The Day, I Had One Of The Old Orange SPV's... (THE FIRST OF THE BUNCH) And I Was Getting Free O2 Dialup On That... Has That Stopped Working Now..?

Anywayz... Any Replys Would Be Good, Cheers Lads :-)

In Holland with at least two providers I have to activate GPRS on my subscription by either calling a number or calling customer care. Activation is free but isn't standard activated.

You have to call your provider and tell them you need GPRS access.

One more thing. Check yur iddle phone display. You should see a "G" icon in the main screen.

That means you're under GPRS coverage.

I had the same problem and call Orange here in dominican republic. They told me I didnt have GPRS active in my account. I told them I want that activated and 2 hours later I was surfing and chatting.

Hope this help you.

Ye, Guys... I Do Have A Little 'G' At The Top... Does This Mean That Its Already Activated? Or Do I Still Need To Ring O2 UK?

Probably need to ring them.

another suggestion - have you tried taking the battery out while the phone is switched on (eek) then leaving it a few seconds and turning back on again. I'm not talking out of my backside, it's a known "issue" with the c500...!

free O2 dialup? You having a larf?! Did you just say "free" and "O2" in the same sentence?? :)

Ye Serious... I Did Have Free O2 Dial Up Once Upon A Time... Free MSN Messenger, Free Internet Exploer etc... Honest! I Even Downloaded A Few Songs From mp3search.com On It Once!

Any Advice For The MPx200 As Its My Fav Mobby..?

I have the same issue with my C500. I'm on o2 pay and go, get the same message. Have called CS and GPRS is active. Tried my SIM in a NK6310i, can connect no problems.

I have the square G on my display the whole time. Have double checked my settings. o2 wont support this handset as it not on their portfolio..

If you manage to get it work, could you let me know how.

Thanks

Glen
