Im sure this is in the How-To

but the search really doesnt work at all. it returns all sorts or stuff.

i just want to enable cleartype font on my c500 ;)

I have PHM reg editor what do i have to add :)

Hkey_Local_Machine>system>GDI>Cleartype

set value data to 1

easy way is to check out this program that has more than 20 registry hacks and it's very easy to use:

I'm having this problem too.

Customcabbage doesn't seem to make a difference, homescreen text still looks furry, but the menu's are OK.

I've tried Tweaks2k2 and still the same.

As a last resort i've gone into the registry to Hkey_Local_Machine>system>GDI> and found no Cleartype Key.

Help!!!!!

Try HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Control Panel\MainLCD

there should be a DWord entry for ClearType and the value will be set to 0, change this to 1

(if there isn't an entry then simply create a new DWord called ClearType and set the value to 1)
