Guest florin83 Posted August 4, 2005 Report Posted August 4, 2005 i have a problem with pop3 email (gmail). after i check for new email, old emails are deleted. why? i want to keep all emails...
Guest Br1an_g Posted August 7, 2005 Report Posted August 7, 2005 if the source email is deleted, i.e. via gmail, then the phone updates to reflect this as it is a reflection of your inbox. v.annoying especially when you have spent time and gprs costs to get them.. if you move them to another folder they should be ok. e.g. sent items
Guest florin83 Posted August 7, 2005 Report Posted August 7, 2005 (edited) no! in the past week i checked my email only from phone. if i want to check now my email, old messages are deleted without to make something from computer. emails are kept till i check again. sorry for bad language:D Edited August 7, 2005 by florin83
Guest Br1an_g Posted August 7, 2005 Report Posted August 7, 2005 unsure why its doing it if there is no change at the source inbox. however, the solution is the same. move downloaded messages to a different folder.
Guest florin83 Posted August 7, 2005 Report Posted August 7, 2005 i put another rom (english) and it make same thing..
Guest florin83 Posted August 7, 2005 Report Posted August 7, 2005 move downloaded messages to a different folder. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> what folder? on phone?
Guest Br1an_g Posted August 7, 2005 Report Posted August 7, 2005 yes, any other of your mail folders for that gmail account. if you go into the message, then options, move and choose a folder. i use sent items..
Guest florin83 Posted August 8, 2005 Report Posted August 8, 2005 but i don't like this way..:) i want to have all e-mails in inbox folder.. ;) maybe is from gmail settings? i'll try with another pop3 account..
