Guest Xowner Posted August 5, 2005 Report Posted August 5, 2005 Installed too many homescreen at once. When I want to uninstall them, I can't find anything in "Remove Programs" section. I know it will show blank if you install >50 programs. Please advise me how to uninstall these extra homescreen/software OR how to get the "Remove Programs" to be able to function. Thanks!!!
Guest Xenzo1990 Posted August 5, 2005 Report Posted August 5, 2005 Get into active sync and click Explore. Then go into Application Data, and then Home. Delete the files you don't need. Thats off the top of my head how to do it, I may be wrong if so ill give you more detailed info.
Guest Disco Stu Posted August 5, 2005 Report Posted August 5, 2005 No no no ! Don't do that. Xenso's right about ActiveSync but use Tools, Add/Remove Programs instead
Guest Xowner Posted August 5, 2005 Report Posted August 5, 2005 Thanks for giving the idea. :) As I installed these homescreen & programs straight from my Xphone, it doesn't appear in the add/remove function during Activesync. I tried to move away some files under Storage/windows/AppMgr/ , hope to clear the 50 max installed bug  but no effect. It looks like the 50 max indicator hidden somewhere, so please anyone know how to make this happen give your 2 cents...... ;)
Guest Confucious Posted August 6, 2005 Report Posted August 6, 2005 Stu did warn you not to do that......
Guest Disco Stu Posted August 6, 2005 Report Posted August 6, 2005 The debris remaining from those deleted homescreens will need cleaning out sooner or later and you're realistically looking at a hard reset. If I were you, I'd bite the bullet and do it now.
