Guest Yenny Posted August 6, 2005 Report Posted August 6, 2005 Can anyone shed some light on this? Remembering my replacement C500 was about to be delivered, I quickly performed a back up AND, knowing I needed some of the texts, I attached the phone to the laptop and copied the "messaging" folder too (with a theoretical view that I could copy the folder back onto the new handset afterwards). Pretty straightforward and logical, I thought at the time... :-( I restored my data then attached new phone. I've tried replacing, renaming, removing and refreshing the messaging folder but not a sausage. I can see the folder and all my texts on my laptop as unaccessible .mpb files, but can't for the life of me get them back onto the phone in a recognisable state. I've since discovered Jeyo Mobile Extender for future back ups (Isn't hindsight marvellous?) but in the meantime can anyone help me? I'd let it go but I refuse on principle... :?:
