Guest dude55 Posted August 6, 2005 Report Posted August 6, 2005 (edited) Has anyone bought from these people? Are they any good? Can I port an O2 Pay&Go number to TMobile? I'm interested by this: http://www.scancom.co.uk/product.php/731/2...3dc043baf976a7c on £15 a month. Am I right to assume i just pay £20, then £15 a month for 12 months? If so, that seems cheap? Ok I've just read http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=200217&hl=scancom and it seems legit. Thanks. Cheers. Edited August 6, 2005 by dude55
Guest Nogs Posted August 22, 2005 Report Posted August 22, 2005 (edited) I can vouch for Scancom, I saw the MDA compact on their site for £20 on the U-Fix 15 T-Mobile Tarrif.... I couldn't find a cheaper site. I got the Phone (would have been next day but T-Mobile wanted a deposit) 4 days later. I was also on O2 PAYG and ported my number over. Well pleased with it. Guest agent.m Posted August 22, 2005 Report Posted August 22, 2005 Can vouch for Scancom as well. I bought my T-Mobile SDA there before it came out even on T-Mobile. Thought it may be a scam but the proof is when you see it. Think it came next day as well.
Guest Phil Lee Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 Just FYI, the U-Fix tariffs don't allow you to add a data bundle. This means you will be paying £7.50 per Mb for data from the phone. I ordered an MDA Compact from Scancom over the phone last Monday on a U-Fix tariff. I specifically asked them to include a 6Mb data bundle. They said that was OK. The phone arrived fine on Tuesday but when I spoke to T-Mobile I discovered I couldn't add a data bundle to a U-Fix tariff. They advised me to cancel the contract if that was important to me. I decided to exercise my right to cancel the contract within 7 days and returned the phone the same day via special delivery to Scancom. Their customer services person was very apologetic about the incorrect advice I had received.
