In PPCPE how do you know how much battery is left? n00bie question <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I use Vbar (1.7) to give me a battery meter and close down programs instead of minimising them. Transcreative's Magic Button also does a similar thing. Both are free
Guest Xenzo1990 Posted August 6, 2005 Report Posted August 6, 2005 There is no native system within PPCPE to check batery status w/o going into settings!?
Guest Disco Stu Posted August 6, 2005 Report Posted August 6, 2005 I don't think there is. I use Spb's Pocket Plus which puts a row of dashes at the top of the screen to show the battery level.
Guest scottb Posted August 7, 2005 Report Posted August 7, 2005 I usually check the battery by pressing the "Launcher" button on my i730--I don't know if other devices have a similar button but the battery level is displayed there. You can also tap the time at the top of the screen and a bubble will display with your next appointment and a battery indicator.
Guest uzi_999 Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 you can use the time method provided by scottb or you can also use one of many today plugins - TodayWarrior (search from google) dislplays a battery meter and a backlight/brightness slider as part of the power bar, and is also useful if you use wifi on the device... another plugin, which i use at the moment (todaywarrior is only for use when i decide to buy myself a wifi sd card!!) is the inbuilt one with the SPB gprs monitor (inbuilt in the orange m500 devices)- from the settings you can choose a variety of items to display, including a battery bar
