Wi-Fi SD card with memory?

ive tried a search and i didnt find anything.

also tried searching ebuyer but nothing listed.

my contracts up at the start of september so im getting an M500.

was wondering, is it possible to purchase an SD Wi-Fi card with inbuilt memory?

would there be any benefit other than time saving changing cards?

I guess you'd benifit by being able to download large files direct, my wi-fi card hasn't arrived yet so couldn't tell you the draw backs of no memory

hadnt tried ebay.

must say it looks a bit big, i would end up breaking it off or something as it looks like it would stick out the length of a memory card.

was thinking if i am transferring stuff via wireless on my home network, ive not got a lot of memory to play with without a card..

so would need to transfer music from home network to phone memory, change cards then transfer from phone to sd card memory..

bit of a pain..

You could always perform the "big storage" rom hack :) I've just done it on mine and its freed up another 27mb of storage space.

I'm not sure which wifi card to go for either right now - it does sound like one with built in storage would be useful...

ive ended up ordering the ebuyer one detailed in another thread which worked out at £25, a fantastic price.

i will do a search for the rom hack..thanks
