I've been doing a lot of experimenting in XML to create Homescreens for my phone. Is it possible to view the Homescreen in my PC before uploading it to my phone?

I only got my smartphone (i-mate SP5 - glee!) last Friday, so you can consider me to be a bit of a n00b, but as far as I can tell, the only tools available for this kind of thing are either something like Ruttensoft or Sunnysoft's homescreen design tools, or, if you're brave, using the Microsoft Device Emulator - which is about equally as easy to develop with as connecting your smartphone anyway, without the ease of navigation.

Knowing a little about XML, it wouldn't be impossible to create a translation stylesheet that could read through a homescreen XML file and spit out a rough HTML preview; I might look at that over the next few days.

Ill look into the emulator but creating a tool like that would be a gem to homescreen designers. You could possible even sell it :)
