I have some software that advises that I format the card to the FAT system, not FAt 32. I do not have a card reader, and the utiliies that I have for formatting the card do not state which system they use. ( i have task manager and resco explorer) and neither gives me the option for FAT.

Does anyone know how I can acheive this without buying a card reader.?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Thanks very much for replying. Unfortunately i have tried both these programmes and although they both will format it, they do not give an option to choose between FAT and FAT32.

Task Manager will format the card so it will work properly on the phone.

What software is asking about fat? or is the question not phone related?

Thanks very much for your help. I have downloaded a new copy of task manager and that seems to have done the trick.
