SPV e200 corrupted

Hi,

I was experimenting with some Homescreens - installing and uninstalling homescreens like ferrari,falcon..

After I uninstalled these 2 homscreens, now i feel my SPV e200 is corrupted.

The windows startup and shutdown screens are gone - it is just white screens.

Earpiece volume screen is gone.when i click on the vol up/down buttons on the side of the phone, the screen flickers but the Earpiece volume screen does not appear.I am not able to decrease or increase the earpiece volume bcoz of this.

Any suggestions as to what can be done to solve this problem

i cant give you the direct link cos i cant remember where it is but in the download section there is a file which will reset all your screens back to factory default...

all is not lost but you'll have to do a search... I think it was Midnight that provided the solution...

hi, how about a hard reset? just go into a bootloader mode (hold the record button when switching on the phone) and then press any key to get to a menu which lets you do it. just please, don't forget to sync before that! :)

hard reset? yup, that'll do it!!

sync'ing before is an absolute must but a full backup even better cos that'll bring back all of your installed apps - save spending an evening re-filling the phone...

installing is what drives me in my phone. when everything goes smoothly it's... you know... dull...

t's why i've blown my e200 skyhigh lately with an incompatible ROM :)

really makes my heart tick!

Thx for the quick reply.

With a few searches, i could find out the software uploaded by midnight which brings back all the default screens.

Thanks to u and thx to midnight who gave us such a beautiful app.

Now my e200 is working fine.

But one doubt...if needed how do u run this app again to get back ur original screens. D o i need to install it again???

cant answer that one from experience... i would have thought you'd have to install it again to overcome any future homescreen trauma...

I just stopped installing homescreens after my little hiccup!! couldnt be doing with the hassle... plus i bought a Magician and started loading themes and Today screens!
