Removing Front Cover on C500

I have the instructions on removing dust from the c500

I was wondering whether it was possible to remove the front cover and keys for

replacement without removing the screws at the back.

The reason why I ask I don't seemd to have a torx screwdriver to hand

No, it's not. I got very familiar with removing the back cover to get the dust out and the front is held in place between the front cover and the circuit board. I can't remember if it's clipped or screwed, but I definitely remember there was no way you could undo it without following the instructions for stripping the phone apart from the back.

Sorry mate, but there's only one way into the phone - and that's the one via the Torx screws.
