Headsets and profiles issue - guru help needed

Haloo to all,

I have Moto MPx220 (ROM 1.280.0.0). I want to use it with some headset to pick and answer call and have my arms free to serve my PC keyboard :)

And here my story begins:

1. When I connect included Motorola headset (wired one with 2.5 jack) it will switch profile to Headset and redirect all sounds into headphones. So I never hear if someone ringing and I never pick up the phone. Is it possible to set ringing from phone not from headset (I personally think it's mechanical issue).

2. So I purchased Moto bluetooth headset HS820. When I connect BT headset some new icon (with headset) appears on first displey line (exactly on left side of GPRS icon) but profile stays on Normal. Everything works great except that phone call is automatically picked up after 2 seconds by BT headset so I have no choice to reject call or mostly I never hear ringing so again I make no call :roll:

I do not understand what means this small "headset" icon and why is there only with BT headsed and not with wired headset.

I found one solution. Turn on BT headset and then put wired headset into phone (it switch to Headset profile) and remowe wired Headset and jupiyeahey it stays in headset profile and call in not answered automatically.

Does someone local guru have some idea how to avoid this stupid process? How to switch to Headset profile automaticaly after connecting BT headset?

Not sure, but with the BT headset on what profile is it using? Just edit that one so auto answer is turned off, that's what I'd do on a C500/C550 I asume the MPx200 is similar.
