Mini sd cards in the c500

1. ive just ordered a 512mb mini sd card for my SPV C500 and i was just wonderin if it wud make my fone slower wen i fill up the memory....? :??:

2. also i dropped my c500 the otha day, (not from a gr8 height) but the cover has com of a tiny bit and i think the speaker is slightly quieter. are the covers suposd 2 com off and has this hapend with ne1 elses speaker...? :??:

ive not experience any slow down... might wanna watch those mp3's for sound glitching

I've always run my C500 with a full memory card (both 256Mb and 512Mb) and never had any problems with slow-down. This tends to only occur when you fill up the phone's memory, as this is the bit it uses to also run programs - hence the more space your files take up the less there is to actually run the programs.

As for the cases, they are NOT designed to come off and doing so will invalidate your warranty (one of the first six Torx screws has to have a "VOID" sticker scratched off it first). It is possible to take the phone apart as I used to do this all the time to remove dust under the screen (have a search for that topic and you'll find a couple of guides, one of which was mine!) but it's still a problem to get hold of a new cover to replace the damaged old one. As for altering a speaker inside, I'm not good with electronics so can't advise how easy it would be to fiddle with the insides - all I'd say after seeing them is rather you than me, my friend! :)
