copying SIM contacts to phone memory

Is there a way of copying contacts from my SIM card (well, actually, my old one) to the phone so that I can then edit them with all the detail options that then gives me?

I have a SIM card from my old orange phone and I would rather like to copy the contacts from it to my C500. There does not appear to be a "copy to phone" option in the menu when in a SIM contact.

Doesn't SIM manager do this? Select all and Add to contacts?

IO never have contacts on my SIM so can't actually confirm this but I thought that's what it was for?
