I don't know if this is a problem with ActiveSync or my phone, or both. When I first connect my phone to sync for the morning, ActiveSync just locks up. After about 2 minutes or so I hear the sound like when you unplug the phone and the AS icon goes grey. Then, usually I can replug it in and it works. I've tried re-installing AS, but that hasn't made a difference.

Any ideas?

Try switching your phone off and on and re-connect the active sync. :?:

I had the same problem. I would connect the phone, click on a standard partnership (or it proceeds to a standard partnership), checks and disconnects. Nothing has been synchronized and I have to reconnect under guest to explore the phone.

Everything was remedied after a hard reset (contacts deleted, everything reset)

I figured that the phone and pc need to set up a partnership right off the bat when the phone was new and no data has been inputed. I set up my past partnership a couple of months after I got my phone and my contacts (which were lost when I hard-reset) were restored from my operator's OTA server.

That's all I got.
