cheers will it worked thanks a million that was a great help

another question can you also send attachments i.e. jpegs etc...

AFAIK you need IA Album/camera software to attach jpegs, search on the forum to check.

(it is about 10-20 pounds).

(I don't have the software, so i cannot confirm).

You can put an e-mail address in the recipient field for an MMS to e-mail a .jpg. Either that or buy IA-Album...

news updates are free for 3 months (i think). you can turn them off, but then cannot get them free again. ;)

(i like the curious take on news stories)

They irritated me after a week or two. Took me ages to find the turn off command too :/

Is there any way to get the yahoo account set up so that it recieves e-mails automatically without having to dial when you click send/recieve am I missing something really obvious?

Posted

If yahoo has a pop3 account then set up and use Auto Sync that I told you about in another post.

You'll need to do a manual Send/Receive first everytime you restart your phone to start the whole process off. Also if you have MS Messenger set up to use a connection when available then it may keep the GPRS connection up after it checks messages. This could start costing you money.

If there is no pop3 for yahoo then there isn't a way.

can anybody out there help me!!!? :x :x

my phone will not send e-mails at all, i have double checked all of the settings.

whenever it tries to send and recieve e-mails it asks for my password. however when this is entered it repeats the process of dialling, logging on and asking for password, and so it keeps going round in circles.

it's driving me crazy!!!!!
