contolling phone from external touchscreen

Has anyone been able to use an external touchscreen to control a xdaII mini (jam)?

I have set up a Car PC and am trying to use my phone through the 7" touch sreen in my dash. This has been done with Symbian software.

I think there are a number of programs that will allow you to control the PPC through the PC - I understand this is one of the best
