Sync Qtek 8100 with outlook not with exchange ?

I want to sync my Qtek 8100 with my outlook. Not with exchange. When I connect the phone using USB to my computer, active sync asks if I want to sync with desktop pc or server. If I choose desktop pc all I can sync are Taks. If I choose server I can sync Inbox, Contacts and Calendar. However I don't want to sync with server. I don't have a exchange server.

Everything works fine with my Pocket PC. It syncs with the pc. Yet the phone refuses. Anybody have an idea on how I can sync with my pc??
