Hi Guys,

Just got my brand new QTEK S110, which I think is great, and making many people at work drool. But I do have some questions that I think you guys will be able to help me with.

1. I was able to put in my Orange GPRS settings, so that I could go online. How can I turn off the GPRS? I was able to do this on my C500. I am also switching over to O2 very soon. Does anyone know where I can get all the settings for O2 (MMS / GPRS etc..)

2. Is there any easy way of closing programs down? Some have an exit button - some don't. The only way I can see is to go into the memory section in systems and shut them down.

3. Can i add Voice Tags to contacts (Like my C500)?

4. In the manual, it said charge the battery for 8 hours, so that the backup battery is full. At about 6 hours, both batteries were 100% I then took it home on the train to play with. I also let it charge last night (about 14 hours total charging since I got it) This is fine right??? Also does it get the same amount of Juice from the USB cable as from the mains. Some of the charging was when synced up.

If I have any other questions, I will add them.

Thanks all

1. Buymobilephones.net has settings for all networks:

I don't use gprs so don't shut it off. It can be shut off by pressing and holding red button i think. There are also some 3rd party freewares that will do this.

2. This is by design. However, many people hate this, so use a program like Magic Button, Wisbar (this is highly recommended) and others. I use SmallMenu Plus (most recommended!)

3. I don't think so. Not sure how voice dialing works. Look into Microsoft Voice Command - very useful.

4. Charging - I understand mains is slightly faster, but it's charging either way.

Thanks for that,

Yes the right call end button does turn GPRS off!!!

I have tried the demo of voice commands. It is quite cool, but I don't think that it is what I am after. What i had on my C500, and also most phones was the ability to use the headset button (wired or bluetooth) to answer calls, end calls and also to use the voice tagging. With voice commands, I seem to only be able to use it if I press a button on the handset.

Also with the headset I can only seem to be able to answer a call, and not end it. Is this right?? I hope it is not, as it seems to be a big bug.

*UPDATE* Answered my own question - Yes you can end a call I found out, if you hold the button for 3 seconds - Can you shorten it???

As both ppc edition and smartphone addition are similar (I think....) Could the voice tagging function be brought across to the ppc as a plugin?

thanks all
