Text message help on SPV 550

I need a bit of help with my phone. Just entered the world of smart phones after being a SE user.

But my new SPV 550 has got a dead pixel and the nice guys at orange said they will swap it for me tomorrow morning. :)

Thing is I have some text messages I want to keep.

Is there anyway of doing this. I use the activsync software and I know you can browse the phone but i was wondering if anyone can help me save my messages. Preferably so I can reload them to new phone but not neccessary as long as i can see them on the computer or somehow.

I use Jeyo mobile extender (www.jeyo.com) to back up my sms's to outloook. I've never tried to put them back on the phone but I believe this is possible.

That program worked a treat. 15 day trial aswell :) but had to download from a mirror site as the download did not seem to work on that site.
